Privacy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Pocday collects nothing about you. It has no account, no server, and it sends the names and dates you write nowhere. This document explains what that means in detail.

Who we are

Pocday is made by pocpocapps, in Romania. You can reach us at pocpocapps@gmail.com.

What data we collect

None. The app sends us nothing, because there is no server of ours for it to send to. We have no accounts, no sign-in, no cloud sync, and we use no analytics or tracking tools of any kind.

We do not know how many people are in your list, what names you wrote, whether you bought Pro, or whether you opened the app today.

The data you write into the app

The names, dates, groups, notes, phone numbers, gift ideas, memories and photos you add stay on your phone only, in the app's private storage. They are not visible to other apps and they never leave the phone unless you export them yourself, into a backup file or a spreadsheet.

Permissions

  • Notifications — so we can nudge you in the morning. Asked for on first run and safe to refuse; the app still works, it just stops reminding you.
  • Contacts — asked for ONLY if you tap “Bring them in”. The dates it finds are copied into the app once. After that the permission is never used again and you can revoke it in your phone's settings.
  • Calendar — the same: only on request, and only for events that repeat every year.
  • Photos — picked one at a time, through the system picker. The app has no access to your gallery; it receives only the file you choose.
  • Fingerprint or PIN — only if you turn the lock on. The check is done by the operating system; we receive only a yes or a no.

Backups

You make the backup yourself, into a file you choose — on the phone or in a Google Drive folder. The app writes the file and nothing more; it never goes online and has no Drive account. If you pick a synced folder, Drive uploads it on its own, like any other file on your phone, and from that point Google's terms apply, not ours.

Payments

Pro is bought through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see or store card details. The app asks Google whether the purchase exists and keeps the answer on the phone.

Who we share data with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or pass on any data, because we hold none.

How long we keep it

We keep nothing, having nothing to keep. Your data stays on your phone for as long as the app is installed. You can delete it any time from Settings → “Delete everything and start over”, or by uninstalling the app, which removes everything belonging to it.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone, at any age.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Here you exercise those rights directly: the data is on your phone, you see it in the app, and you edit or delete it without asking us. You can also take it out, as a backup file or as a CSV table.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date below. We cannot notify you by email, because we do not have it.
